It is not safe to operate the pump and filter system while the winter cover is on. The pump and filter system requires adequate ventilation while operating. Motors run at high temperatures, so you cannot run the pump or filter system while it is covered.
The purpose of the AquaPro Filter System Winter Cover is to protect the Filter System and Pump from the elements like wind, rain, snow or ice during the winter months while the filter system and pump are not being used.
