The Melenia pool is not warrantied for saltwater use. Saltwater is very easy to maintain but can be corrosive to some pool components so you would need a pool that is specifically made for it. Another great option to use as your sanitizing system (instead of a saltwater system) is the Frog Pool Tender Fresh Mineral Water System. This mineral water system utilizes natural minerals and small amounts of chlorine to sanitize your pool. Like Saltwater, it's very easy maintenance but without the corrosion issues.
