The thickness for vinyl pool liners is typically distinguished by "Gauge" in the above ground pool industry. You may see a vinyl pool liner measured in "MIL", which is usually how an inground pool liner is measured.

The pool liners that we carry are not rated by MIL thickness, they are distinguished by Gauge. A 20 Gauge liner is considered standard for vinyl liners. A 25 Gauge liner is thicker and more durable compared to a 20 Gauge liner. A 30 Gauge, 35 Gauge, and 40 Gauge liner are the heaviest and most durable liners available.
